The Polaroid Pogo has been out for just over a year and a half, and it is still the number one jobber for ink jet printers (even though its not an ink jet), and number five in total printer sales on Amazon. There are great reasons why. In this narrative I'll discus the pros and cons of this device, and talk a minute about why it is so successful when new electronic devices are being released every day.

This printer uses no ink so there is no costly ink cartridges to buy. There is special paper that you buy, so total price per print turns out to be .33
It is battery operated, is 4x6in, about an inch thick, and weighs 2 pounds, so it is a truly portable expedient that you can take easily anywhere. If you take a fun photo that you want to give someone, you can print it on the spot and make a memory.
The printer connects directly to cellphones straight through blue tooth to print your pictures on the spot. You can also associate the printer straight through a direct association to PictBride enabled camera.
The paper comes with a peel off adhesive backing that you can use. The adhesive backs make it makes it ideal for creative projects like scrap booking, journaling, or as one of my friends suggested, a photo labeler for her organizing projects.
Cool factor for this minute expedient is very high.

Cons:
This printer is not designed to hook up to your home computer or laptop. There are some work arounds, but it takes some computer savvy. So this printer probably wont be replacing your home computer anytime soon.
The images that this printer produces are 2x3. This is a minute small for some uses, but it is designed for the fun factor.
The image potential is on par with a photo booth. The images are good but not lab quality.
Summary:
This minute portable photo printer is high on fun factor, portability, and creative possibilities. Since the photos are on the small side, it wont be replacing your home printer anytime soon, but what more could you maybe want from a portable photo printer.
